ULTIMATE TEAM

Mantis is an Ultimate Frisbee Women's team from Vienna, Austria. We compete regularly in national and international tournaments, finishing 3rd (2013) and 2nd (2014, 2015, 2016) at Austrian National Championships and winning the trophy for the first time in 2017, aiming for more years to come! We put strong emphasis on improving and working together on and off the field and are led by our core values: trust, common sense and well-being. We are eager to support the growing of Women's Ultimate in a local context. We do so in organizing every December a Women's only indoor tournament ('Merry Mantis') and start each spring with a Women's only HAT tournament ('That's wHAT she said'), which this year will coincide with a Women Skills Clinic organised by our best opponent team « BOX Ultimate Vienna » to make it a full weekend and emphasise on breaking down club borders within Vienna.
