Marburg is a small university town in the centre of Germany, where our team was established in the late 1980s. Legend has it that our team's original name didn't fit our social and nocturnal attitude. So it was changed into "Hässliche Erdferkel" - "Ugly aardvarks". Did you recognise the pleonasm? ;)
We used to mainly play fun tournaments in the past. That's what students do. But somehow we made it to the top at German nationals and even entered the international stage.
