The Long Donkeys are the Ultimate Frisbee team from Pietermaritzburg. We have been around for the past 8 years and are currently one of the strongest teams in the country. We are made up of ex-Natal basketball players, school teachers, university lecturers, students and business men/women. We have been to Nationals 5 times giving us the following results: 2007 – 4th place, 2008 – 8th place, 2009 – 4th place, 2010 – 2nd place, 2011 – 2nd place and 2012 – 2nd Place. We also compete in a national competition called Rocktober, which we won in 2010 and 2011, coming 3rd in 2012.The Long Donkeys teams are comprised of 100% South African players.
